Hi, I'm Adi.
I've helped 100s of humans get their time and energy back by focusing on what matters to them and letting the bullshit go.
I've been there, too.
Before I burned out, I was teaching 10-15 yoga classes per week, co-managing a yoga studio and doing my damndest to look like the perfect mom.
I tried to look like I had it all, by doing it all.
Where it all began...
A 5-year old & a 3-year old, teaching & managing full time, sooooo busy with no time to think.
Exhausted, moody, angry, resentful. Yelling at my kids, snapping at my spouse...
But of course I could do it all! I had to, otherwise what kind of feminist was I?
Life was really hard. But it looked perfect from the outside!
Burnout & a breakdown forced me to slow down & re-evaluate.
I thought that if I ran fast enough and worked hard enough, anxiety & depression couldn't catch me.
My son was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD at age 6.
He was struggling, and I had to learn to help him. Get to know him. Meet him exactly where he was.
Which meant I had to get to know myself, learn to help myself, meet myself exactly where I was.
To show up for him authentically with integrity, compassion, and unconditional love every day.
Time for deep re-evaluation.
Who was I:
As a mom?
A feminist?
A human?
What about my ambition?
What do I stand for? Care about? Value?
What makes my life meaningful?
2020:
Life coach training during a global pandemic punctuated by social justice protests and racism-motivated police violence while homeschooling small children.
Intense catalyst.
Now:
I work full-time as a mental health coach, yoga teacher & full-time mom to my 2 neuro-spicy kiddos and partner to my neuro-spicy husband
I'm strong, resilient and joyful (most of the time).
I put my skills and tools to use every day. (The unsexy secret of mental health? It's a practice: it requires maintenance and care.)
